He started singing and performing at an early age, playing
in his first band in 1972. Throughout the 70's Kenny played in
various bands touring the Rocky Mountains and in June of 1983
founded the Quay County Band. Kenny and his band have had continued
success touring in the United States as well as several tours to
Europe.
| Throughout his career Kenny and his band have
performed with country superstars such as Daryle Singletary,
Chris LeDoux, Neal McCoy, Rick Trevino, Restless Heart, Hal
Ketchum, Dan Seals, Bellamy Brothers and David
Allen Coe, just to name a few. Kenny's recent tours have included
sharing the stage with Blackhawk, Patti Loveless, Pam Tillis and Dr. Hook.
Kenny has also performed with rock legends Ozark Mountain Daredevils,
Lynyrd Skynyrd, and recently with the rock band 38 Special. |

Over the years, making fourteen consecutive appearances at the
Frontier Days Rodeo in Cheyenne, Kenny became known as a "Cheyenne
Frontier Days Tradition" and in 1987 he was asked by the Cheyenne
Frontier Days Committee to travel to Copenhagen, Denmark to
participate in the annual International Promotional Exhibition.
Kenny's dynamic voice and the bands outstanding performance insured
their being asked to return for the exhibition in 1988.

In 1990 Kenny recorded Trashy Women and released it as the B-side
to Waiting in Wyoming, a song that was released for the Wyoming
Centennial Celebration.From 1991-1993 Kenny and his band backed up recording artist,
singer, songwriter Bruce Hauser (Sawmill Creek) while he was on tour
both in the United States and in Europe along with keeping
commitments of their own.
Kenny is proud to have been asked to perform in Las Vegas for the
National Finals Rodeo at Hooters Casino Hotel, (formerly The San
Re'mo) for seven consecutive years, starting in 1999. |

The past years have been very busy for Kenny between touring,
concerts, live broadcasts, and trips to Nashville to complete his
CD "The Buddy System" which was released in September 2001.

Kenny made a hard decision in the summer of 2007 not to
proceed with the rigorous road schedule that he had maintained
for so many years. Kenny would like to thank all of his
friends for there constant support and invite them to say hi
if they find themselves in Jackson Hole.
